A new home for a professional couple, on an infill site in inner city Brisbane. The lowset home is on a 600sqm battle-axe block, surrounded by houses and units of various construction eras.
The planning of the house has been organised around a premise of separation of public and private spaces. The two ‘wings’ of the house connect at a ‘haus wind’, which performs the functions of both the entry and an enclosed deck structure. One of the ‘wings’ contains the master suit, whilst the other contains the living spaces, services spaces and guest areas.
