communication
This is THE VITAL ingredient to project success. We firmly believe that the success or failure of an Architectural Design/Build project revolves around the key ingredient of open, clear, honest and regular communication.
The Architect is perhaps the only person in the entire building process that needs to communicate with many different people on many levels, about many different topics - from the Town Planner or Council liaison, to the Audio Visual technician and Carpenter, and to the Builder or Environmental consultant. Because of the quantity of people involved in the design & construction of a building, this open, honest, clear and timely communication is critical.
We work hard to ensure all communication from the first contact to final handing over of the keys is beyond what would normally be expected. At Aspect Architecture we have developed a communications culture that ensures relevant parties are kept up to speed at all times, and that follow through is not forgotten.
Another key aspect to effective communication during a construction project is that a written record is maintained of any and all key decisions or discussions, so that it may be referred to at a later date if needed, and also to confirm the understanding of the affected parties.
We take seriously the substantial financial investments that are made by our clients, and believe that by instilling a culture of professional communication throughout the project team, their interests are protected at all times.
