There certainly are a huge variety of appliances available these days. Both local and overseas manufacturers now provide consumers with an every-increasing range of products to choose from. In addition to this, the once expensive and more 'exclusive' European brand appliances have had to compete with increasing better Australian designed and/or made products, causing prices to fall without a matching drop in quality.

At Aspect, we are not tied to, or do not 'push' any particular brands of appliances. What we can do however is give you our opinion of, and experience with certain products, to help you in choosing the most appropriate ones for your project.

When budgeting for the appliances in a project, typically the builder when submitting preliminary costings on the sketch design or early phase drawings will allow only for 'standard' appliances. It is important if you think you would prefer higher level or specialised appliances to be included, that this is passed on to us or the builder.

Like the other 'discretionary' budget items such as window coverings, AV and home theatre or home automation, appliances can end up being a good chunk of your budget.

At the appropriate time (usually during the detail design phase of the project), we will arrange for you to have a private visit to some of our recommended supplier showrooms where you can be shown all the latest products. We can also accompany you on these visits if you would like our advice.

Often you are able to combine shopping for appliances with shopping for fittings and fixtures, but be aware - these shopping trips can take up ALOT of your time and effort. Depending on how you schedule these expeditions, they can often be tiring and brain-zapping - so come prepared with plenty of energy, some ides, and an open mind!
