A multi-residential address within inner city Brisbane.
Located in the inner Brisbane suburb of Newmarket, this 10 unit development offered a unique design challenge to provide private residence in close proximity to several major transport corridors. We sought out the opportunity to create meaningful design gestures within the project's time and budget constraints through functional spatial arrangments and considered material selections.
The provision of a generous and obvious approach to the building was achieved through the inclusion of a street front arbour which leads residence 'down the garden path' to a more secluded and private entry way.
Internally, an open plan layout offers generous living space with good natural light and ventilation through the adjacent balconies.
